1. Who we are

RAW English is an online English language school operated by Individual Entrepreneur Kratkovskaya Valeria Vitalievna (OGRNIP 325619600134369, INN 616485783606, Russian Federation) — the “Operator”, “we”. Contact: kratkovskaya.lera@mail.ru.

This policy explains what information we collect when you use the website raw-english.com and the personal dashboards for students, teachers and administrators, how we use it and what choices you have.

2. Information we collect

• Account information you provide: name, email address, phone number, password (stored only as a hash), profile photo, English level and learning goals.
• Lesson information: lesson schedule, homework, notes, chat messages with your teacher, lesson recordings and summaries (when recording is enabled and you have agreed to it).
• Payment information: balance top-ups and lesson charges. Card payments are processed by the payment provider YooKassa; we never receive or store your card number.
• Technical information sent automatically by your browser: IP address, browser type, pages visited and time of access.
• Google Calendar data — only if you choose to connect Google Calendar (see section 4).

3. How we use information

• to provide the service: scheduling and holding lessons, homework, chats, recordings and summaries, payments;
• to contact you about lessons, bookings, changes and your account;
• to keep the service secure and to fix problems;
• to comply with legal obligations under the laws of the Russian Federation (Federal Law No. 152-FZ “On Personal Data”).

We do not sell personal information and do not use it for third-party advertising.

4. Google user data (Google Calendar)

Connecting Google Calendar is optional. A teacher, student or administrator can connect their Google account from their dashboard; Google shows the requested permissions on its consent screen and the user may decline.

Permissions we request and why:

• https://www.googleapis.com/auth/calendar.app.created — to create secondary calendars owned by our app in the user's account and to manage events only in those calendars: “RAW English — уроки” (the user's lessons; moving or deleting a lesson event there reschedules or cancels the lesson on our platform), “RAW English — слоты” (teachers mark the hours when students can book them) and “RAW English — расписание” (administrators). We have no access to the user's primary calendar or other calendars.
• openid, email — to show the user which Google account is connected.

What we access: only calendars created by our app. We cannot see, read or store the user's personal events or other calendars.

What we store: OAuth access and refresh tokens, the connected Google email address, identifiers of the calendars and lesson events we created, and the time ranges from the availability calendar. This data is stored in our server-side database, is accessible only to our servers, and is used solely to synchronise the lesson schedule.

Sharing: Google user data is not sold, not shared with third parties, not used for advertising, and not used to develop, improve or train artificial intelligence or machine learning models.

Deletion: the user can disconnect Google Calendar at any time in the dashboard, which deletes the stored tokens and availability data, or revoke access at myaccount.google.com/permissions. Events already created in the user's calendar remain under the user's control.

RAW English's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

5. Sharing with service providers

We use service providers only to run the service: hosting and database providers, the YooKassa payment provider, email and Telegram notification services, and the video-call infrastructure used for lessons. They process data on our behalf and only for these purposes.

6. Storage and retention

We keep personal information while your account is active and as long as needed for the purposes above or required by law. When the purpose is achieved or consent is withdrawn, data is deleted within 30 days unless the law requires us to keep it.

7. Your rights

You can access, correct or delete your personal information and withdraw your consent to its processing by writing to kratkovskaya.lera@mail.ru. We respond within 10 business days.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. The effective date at the top shows the latest version; the new version applies from the moment it is published.
